Annual Feast Day — St. John the Baptist (Ivana)

Our parish celebrated its patronal feast day with a Divine Liturgy at 3:00 p.m. followed by dinner, baked goods, a 50/50 raffle, and a basket auction. Donations from the day benefit the Restoration Project.

Hierarchical Divine Liturgy & Subdeaconate Ordination

Bp. Bohdan Danylo offered a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at St. John the Baptist on Pittsburgh’s South Side. Around 80 faithful gathered for the Liturgy, which also included the ordination of Mr. Andrew Kurzawski to the subdeaconate.

St. John’s Pilgrimage — Divine Liturgy

On the Vigil of the Feast of the Ascension, nearly 200 faithful gathered at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian-Greek Catholic Church on the South Side. Established in 1891, it remains the oldest Ukrainian Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
